Plano Animal Services reports Rabies-positive bat

On Aug. 19, Plano Animal Services received notification that a bat in the Plano Parkway and Mira Vista area has tested positive for Rabies. Any mammal may become infected with the rabies virus and develop symptoms, including humans.
